Continuing to document the musical and cultural contributions to the American Empire by #BlackAmericans, during the 1950’s, 1960’s & 1970’s, whose work would otherwise go unacknowledged.

Editor’s Note: Here is what our friend Beverly Lindsay-Johnson has been up to. She just continues to do what I call #GodsWork

As usual the output of her work will continue to be made available to the general public in the form of highly entertaining and informative public television documentaries.

That my friends is #Godswork IMHO. (Bob Davis)

Well folks you might ask what am I up to? I’m completing my next documentary “DC Street Jocks Rocked the House” with narrator DJ Kool “Let Me Clear My Throat”. This documentary tells of the street jocks and club jocks that rocked the house parties, cabarets, and night club scene during the 1970s and 80s in the nation’s capital. Here are some behind the scenes photos of the production crew with interviews with Tony Winger, Gregg Diggs, Maniac McCloud, DJ Eardrum, DJ Mr. Hy, Wanda Hayes, Candy Shannon, Jas. Funk, DJ Dee, Donald Baker, Grover Massenburg, Ray Valentine, Mark Puryear, and DJ Kool.

Expect airing on WHUT Howard University Television in early 2024.
